Frequently Asked Questions

What is Personal Color?

"Personal color" refers to determining the colors that best suit and do not suit an individual, taking into consideration factors such as their skin tone, hair color, and eye color, in order to create a better image and become a more attractive person through color harmony.

Personal color is broadly categorized into "warm tones" and "cool tones." Warm tones are skin tones that go well with warm colors like yellow, orange, and brown, while cool tones are skin tones that go well with cool colors like blue, purple, and gray. Based on this, personal color analysis further breaks down tones into seasons and even into 12 different categories to determine the colors that suit each individual.

Wearing the right colors can make a person's skin appear smoother, eyes brighter, minimize the visibility of dark spots, and enhance their overall appearance, making it look healthier and more appealing.

At studio bluette, I can help you discover your personal color and determine the makeup that suits you best.

How do I prepare for Makeup Session?

Kindly refrain from consuming food and beverages high in salt on the day prior to the makeup session.

Additionally, I advise against using any masks or packs on the day before the session. If needed, opt for a hydrating mask to prepare your skin.

If you have any sensitivities to specific products or ingredients, kindly inform me in advance of your appointment.

For wedding, the makeup used is based on your personal color analysis determined during the trial session. Therefore, a trial session is highly recommended before all wedding sessions.

How do I prepare for Trial/Makeup lesson?

We will explore various approaches to find the perfect look for you. If possible, please arrive with a clean face, free of makeup, as this could help streamline the process. Additionally, kindly bring along images of the looks you're interested in trying on.

You can also send these images before the session for discussion.

Feel free to bring your favorite beauty products as well; we can collaborate and work together to achieve the desired result.

I will provide a face chart for you, which will allow you to purchase the necessary products for touch-ups on your wedding day.

If you're interested in purchasing any of the Korean products used, please don't hesitate to inquire if I can assist you with placing an order.
